The cost of classes is paid directly to each vendor, not to Clear Waters Learning Center. Please verify with the vendor which charter funds they accept.

Two semester long course with the goal of building a love of reading and writing! All grades utilize the writing process and grow knowledge in three genres of writing: narrative, opinion, and informative.
Primary grades focus on phonemic awareness, phonics, and foundational reading skills.
Upper grades focus on comprehension, close reading, and story analysis.

Two semester long course with the goal of developing and fostering a mathematical mindset! All grades strengthen their math skills through games, warm-ups, and problem solving incorporating the mathematical practices.

The semester is divided into 8 weeks of Science and 8 weeks of Social Studies.
Whether learning about Physical, Life, or Earth Science, and/or Engineering students conduct experiments. They create projects using the scientific method and the engineering design process.
The Social Studies goal is to think like a historian! Students will learn about themes throughout history, historical figures, and community.

Music improves success in school and life! This semester-long course teaches classical concepts and the different parts of harmony. With family guidance, students choose what they would like to learn: voice, piano/keys, drums, guitar, and/or ukulele. One-on-one sessions (30 minutes).
After registering for one-on-one sessions, you will sign up for a preferred time slot.

Group music lessons are a great way for students to learn and have fun with music! This semester-long course provides an engaging experience among learners. With family guidance, students choose what they would like to learn: voice, beginner keys, drums, and/or guitar. Small group lessons are made up of 5-6 students.
Group lessons will be once a week, day/time TBD.

Band is a semester-long course providing an engaging, collaborative experience where learners develop musicianship, ensemble skills, and confidence. Students are highly encouraged to take one-on-one music lessons concurrently so they can improve technique, receive personalized feedback, and accelerate individual progress that strengthens the whole ensemble. Playing in band also builds listening skills, timing, teamwork, discipline, and creativity, while offering social connections and opportunities for leadership. The course culminates with a performance that showcases students’ growth, gives real-world performance experience, and celebrates their accomplishments.
Band will be once a week, day/time TBD.
